Summer Camp Registration Is Open!

Since 1946, campers of all ages have been making memories to last a lifetime at Camp Zion, near the northernmost tip of the beautiful Door County, Wisconsin peninsula.

Camp allows you to take a break from the pace and distractions of life, and breathe in the beauty of God’s creation. Listen to God’s voice and learn from His Word.

Bring a friend, GET $20!

Bring a friend who has never attended a Camp Zion summer camp program and you each receive $20 credit in the canteen (non-refundable). You must both attend the same week of camp and your registration forms and payments must be received within one week of each other. Credit is applied after camper check-in, first day of camp.


Pre-Camp (Children entering gr. k-1, Plus One Adult)

Pre-Camp, July 31-Aug. 3, 2026 $495 (total fee for one adult and one child)

Pre-Camp is perfect for first-time and young campers, entering grade K-1. Campers attend with a parent or grandparent, and will experience the fun, games, and traditions of a regular summer camp together. Children will be better prepared to attend on their own in future years. Separate devotional times for kids and adults. Parents have as much fun as the kids!

Camp begins at 2:30 Friday and ends at 11:00 Monday

Note: When registering for this session, choose FAMILY CAMPS as the season.


Primary (Co-ed entering gr. 2-3) $395

June 21-25, 2026

The days fly by with this five-day, four-night adventure, filled with new experiences. Pass the S’Mores! For girls and boys.

Camp begins at 11:30 on Sunday and ends at 10:00 on Thursday.

Bus from Zion, IL departs at 6:30 a.m. Bus returns to Zion by 4:00.


Junior Girls (entering gr. 4-6) $495

June 28 - July 3, 2026


The sounds of happy, giggling, singing girls are everywhere, with fun-filled days, new friends, and the famous Jr. Girls Talent Show and Stunt Night. Special Events await!

Camp begins at 11:30 on Sunday and ends at 10:00 on Friday.

Bus departure from Zion, IL is 6:30 am. Bus returns by 4 pm.


Junior Boys (entering gr. 4-6) $495

July 12-17, 2026

Hold on for an energetic week full of fun! Boys will learn new skills, get in on the excitement of a game of Ga-Ga ball, Dodgeball, Carpetball, and enjoy the classic Jr. Boys Stunt Night.

Camp begins at 11:30 on Sunday and ends at 10:00 on Friday.

Bus departure from Zion, IL is 6:30 am. Bus returns by 4 pm.


Jr. High (Co-ed entering gr. 7-8) $495**

July 5-10, 2026

Six days of action-packed, non-stop, extravagant-themed FUN, with cardboard canoe races, water balloon fights, and more! For boys & girls.

Camp begins at 11:30 on Sunday and ends at 10:00 on Friday.

Bus departure from Zion, IL is 6:30 am. Bus returns by 4 pm.

**Jr. High has reached capacity FOR GIRLS and a short waiting list has been started. We still have room for boys. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND complete the Jr. High registration process to get your name added to the waiting list. No deposit is needed to have your name added to the waiting list. There are no guarantees, but we typically see changes to the camper list. When a vacancy occurs, we immediately notify the next person on the waiting list, and move them onto the camper list.


Sr. High I AND Sr. High 2.0 (Co-ed entering grades 9-12)

TWO great summer camp options for senior high school students! Both sessions will be the same number of days, offer similar traditional camp activities, and will include at least one of the following: water-skiing and instruction, kayak trips, special outings, or bicycle trips. Kids consistently tell us that time spent with new & forever friends at high school camp was one of the best weeks of their lives!  

Sr. High I begins at 11:30 on Sunday and ends at 10:00 on Friday.

Sr. High 2.0 begins at 11:30 on Sunday and ends at 9:45 on Friday.

The Outpost Story

Now, there's even more to explore than your favorite Camp Zion activities including swimming, canoeing, archery, and nine square. Join us to untether from technology as you connect with God and each other. Learn classic outdoor and survival skills in a safe, energizing setting. Discover joy in a place that's challenged, encouraged and blessed thousands of campers in the eighty year history of Door County's Camp Zion. Hearty food fuels all the making, doing, and exploring of this two-night adventure for those with lots -- or little -- outdoor experience. Led by a seasoned director with a world of hard-won wisdom, Outpost is an uncommon gathering for men and boys from all backgrounds.

This session is for boys entering 4th grade through high school, attending with either their dad, grandpa, uncle, or authorized guardian.

Camp begins at 1:00 on Friday and ends at 11:00 on Sunday. Transportation is not provided for this session. Check back for more details on this exciting new program.

Summer Camp Frequently Asked Questions

A Note to Parents –

Camp is a place where your child can experience outdoor fun and develop meaningful relationships with other kids and adults, while in a safe, Christ- centered environment. Your child will never forget the spectacular scenery, limestone bluffs, beautiful sunsets over the bay, and star-filled nights.

We take camper safety seriously. Caring and qualified staff members supervise campers, include them in activities, and know how to spot and deal with issues like homesickness and misbehavior. Waterfront, food service, and health services staff have appropriate and current certifications. All staff members undergo initial background checks, annual application reviews, and training in child protection policies. Camp Zion is licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Recreational/Educational Camp.

Our daily schedule offers a variety of fun activities, including age-appropriate, themed Bible studies and evening campfires led by committed Christian staff. Campers learn about God and His wonderful plan for their lives, and how to apply faith in Jesus to their lives.

To request scholarship assistance or set up a payment schedule, please contact the camp office.

Cancellation Policy

The accompanying deposit for camps and retreats is applied to the total Camp fee and is not refundable or transferable except for sickness, unavoidable circumstances, or if the camp session is full. Balance of summer camp fees, spending money, health history, and medication administration forms are due by June 1, and must be received by June 15. Balance of fees for seasonal retreats are due one week prior to the retreat.

Out of courtesy and respect for others, please let us know as soon as possible if your child will not be attending. Some sessions may have children on a wait list, staff need to to organize cabins, teams, etc. If camper cancels for reasons OTHER THAN sickness or unavoidable circumstance within two weeks prior to the session, a $50 cancellation fee IN ADDITION to the deposit will be charged.

  • tobacco, alcohol, drugs
