To All Our Great Camp Zion Neighbors!

It’s been a good summer, but all good things must come to an end. Our summer youth camps end on Monday, August 11.

We appreciate the nice comments from many of you about the quality and reduced dust on the “chip sealed” surface of Door Bluff Lane. A contractor will be doing work on both Door Bluff Lane and our section of Door Bluff Rd. sometime this week, maybe Tuesday, August 13, or Wednesday, August 14. Weather and work load may impact the actual work. As soon as we know the details, we will post notices along the road.

The contractor works quickly, efficiently, and safely; they anticipate the total process taking several hours. You should expect some brief delays in access. The contractor will let us know when we can drive on the new surface, which is typically soon after the product is applied.

P.S. To be continued! What they were able to do looks great! The contractor did not have enough oil to finish the job, and will be back in 2020.
